Warning: Do not buy an HP Desktop:

• A number of programs (including Ham University) will not run on some Hewlett-Packard desktops - these programs won't even start!
• HP will not support third party software -- so if you plan to run any programs other than Windows DO NOT buy HP machines*
• If you contact HP support they will tell you it is not their reponsiblity to support third party software - it is not covered under their warranty
• Consumers Reports (May 2009) rates HP support the worst of all the major PC manufacturers
